I am a planner by nature, and I rarely like to go out of my comfort zone if there is no guarantee that everything will improve. I would always play it safe. However, I have realized that playing it safe does not guarantee that everything will be fine as well.

When I turned 35, I decided to start pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, and I booked my first solo trip outside of Canada, and I went to Las Vegas. People were shocked when I told them I had booked my trip. The funny thing is I was scared and constantly thinking, am I doing the right thing? How can I justify spending money on a vacation when something could go wrong and I have no money for that expense?

Yet, I had no reason to worry about it. I had to learn how to work with abundance, and to this day, I struggle with this. As I learned, when you commit to something and are clear on your intention for change, the universe will rise and meet you to make things happen. This does not mean going into debt, but things will happen unexpectedly.

I decided to go to Vegas during my February break in July of the following year. The things that had lined up for me were like magic. My friend offered me her timeshare for the week and a heavy discount. The flights were direct and inexpensive, and my sister could come down for a portion of the week to spend time together. This was our first trip together as adults. We had a blast going to shows, shopping, and, of course, a little gambling.

That trip taught me that we naturally want to see the negative effects of change to justify why we should not change. However, with a mind shift in change, look at what could happen to your life if you have succeeded.

Sometimes, change comes to you when you least expect it or when you are in fear of moving forward, but you are asking your team for help. I was not enjoying my job and yearned to return to school, but I feared doing so because what if I made a mistake again? Since kindergarten, I have dreamed of becoming a teacher, and I was actively pursuing it every day. I was driving my friends and cousins crazy because I wanted to "play" school.

On December 10th, 1985, I was in grade 5, and I heard a clear voice and knew it was God that I would not become a teacher. This rocked my world because that is all I ever identified and wanted to do with my life, but many obstacles were put in my way of achieving this goal. So, once I resigned from my dream of becoming a teacher, I realized why the blocks were put in my way.

I fell into a depression because I did not know what I was going to do with my life if teaching was not my path. I have learned that teaching is what I am supposed to do, but not in the traditional sense of being in a classroom with students. Ever since I could remember, I had a special connection to my Angels and Guides and for whom I know God. This was my purpose in teaching in learning how to work with my Angels and teaching people how to do the same. If I had fallen into what I thought would be my initial teaching path, I would not have been able to teach in what I know now; because it would be outside of the teaching norms, I would have to choose one or the other. My team knew I would deny the possibility of teaching people how to step out in Faith and work with their guides.

Fast forward to 2018, I took the Angel Empowerment Practitioner's course, and it was here my team told me this was my purpose. I am to teach people how to work with the Angelic Realm and Spiritual Realm to heal and move forward to living the life that one desires.

One of the Lessons I have learned from my angel team is that they will put you in a position that will push you out of your comfort zone. You must trust your team that they are leading you down the right path and that you will fly and soar like an eagle. Are you ready to take the leap and fly?
